The Lab Calculator-handling your calculations

Stock Preparator
Allows you to calculate the mass needed to achieve a given concentration of a chemical e.g calculating the mass of sodium hydroxide required to make 2mM of the solution in 100mL. This makes preparation of stock solutions easier and more accurate. In addition, by allowing users to reverse calculate the concentration given mass and volume, Stock Preparator makes it easy to recalculate concentration in the event that you added a little too much volume of solvent e.g if you find out that you added 110ml instead of 100mL, you can easily recalculate the new concentration or determine how much more chemical you need to achieve your initial desired concentration.
Unit Converter
This is an expansion of the concentration conversions (Micromol in previous versions) and now includes conversions of mass as well as concentrations. This allows researchers to switch seamlessly between different protocols specifying different units while achieving the same accuracy.
Simple Ratio
Formally called Ratio Genius. Allows researchers to do a quick ratio calculation. Works with both direct and indirect proportions. It will give you quick answers to questions like, "If I add 2ul of ethidium bromide in 50ml of agarose gel, how much will I add in 130ml?" Or, "how much water would I need to add to 127ml of 95% ethanol to get 70% (say, because 127ml is all that remains before the next order comes in)."
Easy Dilution
Provides a simple intuitive way to dilute a concentrated solution to a desired lower concentration.
Volume Calculator
Performs the C1V1=C2V2 calculation
