TextCrawler – string search and replace tool in files

http://www.digitalvolcano.co.uk/content/textcrawler

TextCrawler is a string search and replace tool that enables you to find and/or replace text and phrases across multiple files. The program supports simple keyword searches as well as advanced queries, using regular expressions. It also provides the option to extract the matching text to a separate window, from where you can copy it for other uses (e.g. to extract email address, URLs or similar patterns). A preview window allows you to view the found matches within their context, and you can choose to exclude certain files from the replace actions. Other features include an option to save RegEx strings in a custom library, subfolder scanning, automatic file backup and a built-in Regular Expression tester.

SVN-Monitor-monitor SVN Repository

http://www.svnmonitor.com/default.shtml

What is SVN-Monitor?
* Perform all your commonly-used svn-actions (update, commit, revert, diff …)
* Keep your source up-to-date with minimum conflicts and manual merges
* Browse and search the svn log from your computer while offline (disconnected from the svn repository)
* Be constantly aware of your local source modifications, without using any Visual Studio plugin
* Keep a local updated mirror of the repository, while not affecting your changes, without the need to commit
* Monitor the source for certain events
* Receive notifications of any kind (balloon popups, tray icons, email, sounds, …) when certain events occur

But I’m using TortoiseSVN!
Very good. You’ll continue using it.
SVN-Monitor acts as a front-end to TortoiseSVN for all your projects. Instead of using Windows Explorer for accessing TortoiseSVN, you can easily access it from your system-tray.

Netsparker-web application security scanner

http://www.mavitunasecurity.com/netsparker/

We thought that if you need to investigate every single identified issue manually what’s the point of having an automated scanner? So we developed a new technology which can confirm vulnerabilities on demand  which allowed us to develop the first false positive free web application security scanner.  Powerful AJAX – JavaScript Support
Thanks to its comprehensive and powerful JavaScript engine it’s possible to simulate a real attacker successfully. This means it can successfully analyse websites that rely on AJAX and JavaScript.  Shows You the Real Impact
If “a picture is worth a thousand words”, then seeing the impact of a vulnerability is worth a thousand pages of report. Instead of only telling what the security issue in your application is, it’ll show you what an attacker might accomplish by exploiting it. Our scanner can exploit identified vulnerabilities with just a couple of clicks.

Downlload the AppDeploy RepackagerThe AppDeploy Repackager is a simple freeware snapshot tool for the creation of Windows Installer (MSI) setup packages. Open ModelSpherUML modeling tool

http://www.modelsphere.org/

Open ModelSphere is a powerful data, process and UML modeling tool. Open ModelSphere covers conceptual and logical data modeling as well as physical design. It supports several notations, e.g. Entity-Relationship, DATARUN and Information Engineering. Conceptual models can be converted to relational models and vice versa.

Thanks to its reverse engineering capabilities, Open ModelSphere allows graphical visualization of your relational database´s architecture, thus making modifications easy. As a complete data modeling tool, it allows the generation of SQL scripts from your model as well. It can also generate SQL script enabling you to synchronize your existing database with the model that you modified. Open ModelSphere supports all the database management systems in a generic manner. For some of them, like Oracle, Informix and DB2, Grandite also offers plug-ins, specific to the various concepts.

Open ModelSphere also includes expert modules to validate the integrity of your architecture and the coherence of what you established (meeting the requirements of each DBMS). This validation expertise will help you save research time among the multitude of restrictions that exists in each management system.

Open ModelSphere also helps systems analysts to integrate the creation of data flow and business process diagrams and to elaborate an enterprise´s workflow and logistics. You can specify resources, transactions, communicational exchanges, cost calculated in time, money and effort, etc. Open ModelSphere is not restricted to business process modeling, but also allows you to set up the technical design at the application system level.

Open ModelSphere supports you to schematize the various processes´ details in a hierarchical manner, thus enabling you to decompose a process in subprocesses. This way, it is easy to keep an overview, while having access to a very detailed view of the processes. When setting the data flow diagram, it becomes easier to design a relational database that meets the company´s needs, hence avoiding loss of time and money.

Last, but not least – Open ModelSphere provides the functionality of a rich UML modeling tool / software. You can create Activity, Class, Collaboration, Component, Deployment, Package, Sequence, Statechart and Use Case diagrams. With respect to the coexistence of relational and object-oriented approaches, class models can be linked to data models. Moreover, class models can be generated from data models and vice versa.

http://www.xqual.com/

XQual Studio (XStudio) is a FREE 100% graphical and modular in design test management application that handles the complete life-cycle of your QA/testing projects from end to end: users, requirements, specifications, SUTs, tests, tesplans, test reports and test campaigns.
In addition, XStudio is a powerfull but simplistic-to-use bug-tracking database. Hence, you will be able to manage your defects as any bug-tracking database but also to "link" these defects to your test campaigns.

Using a MySQL database as principal storage, XStudio allows to schedule or run instantly fully automated or manual test campaigns.

Installing XAgent (a free program running in background) on several hosts will allow you to run the test campaigns on these PCs remotely.

Uniquely, XStudio provides a "simplistic-to-use" system that integrates all the tests you may already have -or you're planning to develop- whatever the language they are written into. Because XStudio can be used with any kind of tests (C/C++, Java, C#, Python, Perl, JUnit, CUnit, VBScript, JavaScript, any proprietary languages provided by dedicated tools such as AutoIt etc.), all types of industrie can take advantage of it.

SourceMonitor-monitor complexity in source code

http://www.campwoodsw.com/

The freeware program SourceMonitor lets you see inside your software source code to find out how much code you have and to identify the relative complexity of your modules.     * Measures metrics for source code written in C++, C, C#, VB.NET, Java, Delphi, Visual Basic (VB6) or HTML.
    * Saves metrics in checkpoints for comparison during software development projects.
    * Displays and prints metrics in tables and charts.
    * Operates within a standard Windows GUI or inside your scripts using XML command files.
    * Exports metrics to XML or CSV files for further processing with other tools.
