The first version of Memtest86+ was released on early 2004, based on memtest86 v3.0 that was not updated since mid-2002. Our main challenge was to provide an up-to-date version of this useful tool, as reliable than the original. Our work started when we got the first AMD64 system. Unfortunatly, the original memtest v3.0 didn't run at all. After looking at the source code, we fixed the bug.After some days, I saw lot of other things like chipsets or CPU that were not correctly detected or not detected at all. As I'm the chief-editor of a french hardware website (www.x86-secret.com now integrated into www.canardplus.com), I have access to lot of recent hardware and I can test and debug on quite all available motherboards on the market. After adding detection for all current CPUs, I've added detection for all current chipsets (SiS, VIA, nVidia, Intel) and ECC Polling for AMD64, i875P and E7205. Then, I decided to display some use

ful settings for the most popular chipsets. For exemple, on i865PE/i875P series, memtest86+ will now display FSB & Memory frequency, PAT status, memory timings, ECC status and the number of memory channels. Next version will perhaps contain several enhancements and bug-fixes.

How to use Paste Copy

    * Download and save PasteCopy.exe
    * From the file menu, add at least one category
    * Now you copy some text using Ctrl+C or right mouse button
    * Select one of the categories you created in Paste Copy, and click "Add Clipboard to Selected Category"
    * Once you have added all phrases, you click on a phrase and it will be copied to the clipboard
    * Finally you paste the phrase somewhere, using Ctrl+V or right mouse-click
    * 
    * The number on the filemenu is the length of the selected phrase

WatchCat 2.0 (last freeware version) uses a menu to keep track of programs you are running, letting you hide any running application from view. Application windows that are hidden by WatchCat not only disappear from your Windows desktop but also disappear from the Taskbar and from the list of running tasks displayed by ALT-TAB. To hide or unhide any application, simply right-click on WatchCat's System Tray icon and select an application from the menu that appears; applications that appear on the bottom of the menu are ones that are currently hidden.

There are options to hide and show all windows and to hide or show your desktop icons. Other options let you hide and unhide programs using hotkeys or by right-clicking on any application's "minimize" icon.

You can even set up timers which automatically hide or close windows after a specified period of time. And this newest release lets you minimize applications to the System Tray and protect hidden windows with a password.

What this standalone (no-install needed) application does is execute the Ctrl+Alt+Tab key combination when you press and hold the left mouse button, and then press the right mouse button. The Alt+Tab application switcher will appear on the screen until you click on one of the windows that you want to switch to:

This should work in any version of Windows that supports the Alt+Tab key combination, and it can easily be set to start with Windows by placing it in your Startup folder located in the Start Menu. Notepad++ is a free (free as in "free speech", but also as in "free beer") source code editor and Notepad replacement, which supports several programming languages, running under the MS Windows environment.

This project, based on the Scintilla edit component (a very powerful editor component), written in C++ with pure win32 api and STL (that ensures the higher execution speed and smaller size of the program), is under the GPL Licence.

This project is mature. However, as you can see it's a one-man-project, there are still some bugs and missing features. If you have any question or suggestion about this project, please post them on the forums. As well, if you have any feature requests, you can always make the demand, but there's no guarantee that I'll implement it.
