cacheCopy is a little application for ripping images from your browser cache into a folder on your drive.
All the images that are displayed in your browser are stored somewhere on your hard-drive (unless you use private browsing in Firefox or Chrome). You can access these images yourself if you know where to look for. But you’ll need to sort the files into images, text and other media, add file extensions to images and sort them. Or you can use cacheCopy application that will copy all the JPG images from browser cache into a folder on your drive.

These two bill before congress will kill the internet… Allows Big Media Companies and others to censor the Internet by forcing the taking down of websites with no proof of copy write infringement, just their word for it. Their tack record in the past  of taking sites using existing law for copy writes they do not own and just proves they try to take down totally legal things they do not like, for example negative reviews of their products and etc.  In the past it has been a website is innocent until proven guilty, with these two new bill the new way is the WEBSITES ARE GUILTY UNTIL THEY PROVE THEY ARE INNOCENT AT THE WEBSITES $COST (Websites have the burden of proof, not the big media accusers of infringement, this is totally against what common law principles are today)  This will kill innovation by allowing big media to take down totally legal things they do not like and allows them to not have to innovate when competition comes around.  Our Congressmen who are making the decisions are out of touch with mainstream and brag that they do not know what the internet is or have even used it and proud of that fact like “Badge of Honor” so the just take the word of the lobbyists.

Here’s a fun utility I run all the time on my main machine… it’s called AeroWeather. It sits in the background and retrieves the temperature or current conditions for your location, and will then set the Windows Aero color based on the temperature.  This is a really neat utility if you’re the kind of person that wants to know what the temperature is just by looking at the Windows UI, or… if you’re like me, and you can’t decide on which Aero color to use, and would prefer it if it changed during the course of the day. AeroWeather requires Windows Vista or Windows 7 with Windows Aero enabled. This software is designed to work with the “glass” effect in Windows Vista and Windows 7, and it will not work unless Windows Aero is enabled.
